It all starts with the correct mindset
It all starts with the correct mindset but using your imagination will just not do the trick, removing the handbrakes is the big deal.
Our mind is wired and programmed since we were born with full of Don’ts and No’s and other limiting factors.
Like it might take years for a computer programmer to perfect a software program same does with our mind, it did not become a self a sabotaged mechanism in one day, it took time, lots of effort and lots of repetition from our external environment.
So, how do we remove the handbrakes?
First thing first is to believe that your mind has unlimited potential and power, every single person in this earth has some special skill that no one else can do as that person can perfectly do. Yes, you do!
Second, realizing the limiting factors, what causes our automatic self-sabotage reactions, for example if you would like to begin your own business, self-limiting and self-sabotage kicks in with questions like “What if I fail and embarrass myself” “What if I succeed and cannot handle it” “Who I think I am ?”
Third, begin questioning the source of your self-limiting and self-sabotaging. When you were a child and you tried walking for the first time you felled and it hurt but surely you did not said “this is too hard for me I am not trying again”, instead you kept trying and trying until you finally walked.
With that said somewhere in the line between our childhood and our adult life something changed, either a person or situation has forced us to believe that something is impossible. False statement, nothing is impossible, human spirit have unimaginable power, with enough persistence and vision we went to the moon, we have cured diseases we have stopped wars, we have invented the light the airplanes.
Now going back to our limiting self, we have two choices, we either accept the situation as it is OR we choose to begin questioning WHAT we do and WHY we do it.
What limiting and self-sabotaging thoughts are blocking you for achieving what it is you want to achieve?
